Montezuma waterfall

This hike is not so challenging as the one I did in Brazil but not less worthwhile :-)

If you want it's possible to jump in it

But I prefer the fish's way

Shadow, fresh water and some rest for the feet :-)

On the way back, there is a place for fuel replacement :-)

Montezuma

This town is also known as Montefuma due to a local joke done by changing one letter. Therefore the meaning of it looks like SmokeMountain ...another terrible translation for a proper name just for making an explanation :-)
I thought it could be easier to move from Playa Samara to Montezuma but things aren't so simple as they appear on a flat map. Fortunately most of the path is unpaved with some streams to cross...

... and nice views but I couldn't register most of them so two choices again: trust me or do it by yourself :-)
Finally, the village with its hippie atmosphere...

By horse, by rail, by land, by sea, my journey starts

Ok, neither by horse nor by rail and sea  but at least by land my journey starts :-)
On behalf of me there are volcanoes in this country :-)
I moved toward Playa Carrillo for thinking for a while if I go or not to Islita

But I should take a bus to Santa Marta and then change for another one to Islita ...hmmmm!!!

As a matter of fact, I don't own animal's wisdom so it's better paying attention on them

For example the smart dog digging the sand in search for freshness and then...

Or the clever bird on the shadow

Surely I will not swim against the nature so I stopped to drink .... water :-)

Playa Samara

It's the closest beach on the village.

But it's not so clean as the one visited yesterday because there are horses,

dogs,

and humans :-)

Even so there are birds looking for food

Tired of salt water ? You can refresh yourself at hotel's swimming pool :-)

Bycicle Diaries

Due to my lack of energy, I couldn't make a long trail like the one portrayed on the motorcycle Diaries movie.
But I rented a bicycle... anyway it saves the environment :-)

... and moved toward Playa Carrillo ...brazilians, double 'r', please :-)

where I could spend some time by listening to the sound of silence while looking at birds sailing or walking on the beach.

The price of the ticket to get in ? it is not expensive...

(*) translation: Playa Carrilo, price to get in: take your garbage with you

... unless for some smokers and drinkers :-(

Finally, I swear I'm not the drinker one because there is an advertisement: If you drink, don't cycle.... it's not an exact tranlstion but I'm innocent :-)
