Kerama Islands

There is half internet that means it works... it doesn't work... it works... it doesn't work... that is much better than no internet :-)

Yesterday I went to  Tomari port  to know the boat's schedule to Kerama islands and it was told to me 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

So today at 08:30 a.m. I arrived at port but mother earth sent over 3 meters waves and 9 a.m. boat was cancelled so there was time to:

1) After reading about absence of ATMs machines in these islands, I tried to get some cash without success…. take it easy and keep reading because I'll not ask any money…. for a while :-) Here is not Colombia but I started thinking again about changing bank 

2) listen some good song

3) eat an okinawan lunch

4) exercice patience

and finally take the boat towards Zamami jima chosen as my base point at Kerama

and the best: without paddling :-)

Shuri

The monorail runs from Naha-airport to Shuri and it's a good option to move around Naha.

There is a castle of Ryukyu kingdom at Shuri

the first floor was used for formal ceremonies

and the second one used by king and queen. I hope I copied the above information correctly :-)

And what about king's crown ?....hmmmm!!!

In order to recover myself from the day before, I choose a vegetarian dish...

... with organic beer after all nobody is made by iron :-)

Naha

Beyond food also the weather is warm so first time to dress short pants for a  free walk around Okinawa's capital city at Kokusai-dori

With the ubiquitous Shisa ... at least in Okinawa and below Shisa playing sanshin but you can listen people playing it on the streets.

and when I was almost getting lost Mother Mary comes to me :-)

to show me the way :-) to orion a local beer and as good as suntory.

And by writing about food, in Okinawa there is Yakiniku or grilled meat

And please don't show this post to my cardiologist or she'll give up on me :-)

All by myself

After thinking better I ate a black egg and it was sweet and with more seven years.... really sweet :-)

Today I made the route Hakone - Odawara - Shinagawa - Haneda

Did I do it by myself ? surely by using the information service I got from the office beside bus stop at Hakone because there is another one inside train station whose service is the worst I've met until now. So in Hakone, look for information service outside de train station otherwise I keep going Hakone - Odawara - Hakone.... :-)

The food tastes spicy but too early to make conclusion. Let me taste more :-)

Hakone day

It started with a japanese breakfast at Fukuzumiro

Then crossed lake Ashi in a cloudy and windy day so  anything in common with the link before :-(

Went up by using cable car

and reached Owakudani where there is smoking volcano which doesn't smell good :-(  and black eggs didn't attract my appetite but seven years....hmmm!! I'll think about :-)
