For tonight with below 15 celsius degrees it's impossible to challenge a bohemian beer therefore I changed by a moravian wine :-)

The travel is made by decision

On the way to České Budějovice, I read in the guide that Tábor is worthwhile but if I decide to stop at it the travel would be endless.... unless you sponsor me :-)

Meanwhile you think about it I kept on the way and I arrived in Český Krumlov which is flanked by Vltava river too.

Václavské náměstí

It is the place where among others facts, in 1989 the fall of communism was announced.

Ironically, nearby there is the Museum of communism besided by McDonald's and a cassino :-)  There are three main rooms with the themes: Communism the dream, the Reality and the Nightmare. There is also available a projection room with a film screening interviews with ex-political prisoners.

Nowadays it looks like any other shopping store.

As anyone said before: truth is the first victim in a war ..... any war

After that I can only go back to beer :-) with brazilian song as background at Maitrea

Beyond the beer

There is art also :-) for example at Rudolfinum home to Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

Without forgetting Estates Theatre where Mozart's Don Giovanni was premiered in 1787. But the only opera avaialble was Cosi fan tutte.

In order to fuel replacement let me say about czech dish. For example, Vepřo knedlo zelo based on roast pork or Pečená kachna like one below

 For tonight, nightmares are waiting for me :-)

Vyšehrad

The day started rainy so it means my workmate is still in Prague :-(
Fortunately I haven't met him :-)
Unfortunately there isn't enough light to take good pictures from Vyšehrad

Some people says that it's where Prague was born

Prague Castle

By crossing the Charles bridge early in the morning I've never walked on it peacefully :-)

From it I saw the castle

Before I get in the cathedral the weather was nice as you can see

When I got out from the St. Vitus cathedral even the weather had changed and the worst..... a workmate from Brazil met me.... Bad luck :-(   but the unvisited sights could be seen on another day so I did it :-)

Back to reality

After wandering for one day it's time to go back :-) and cross the Vltava river to reach Malá Strana

where it's St. Nicholas church

and take some rest at Kampa Island

Synergy

Finally, I understood what this word means :-)
After writing about beer, the next day was sunny and by joining a city named Plzeň which is two hours far by train from Prague.

There is also the central square (Náměstí Republiky) with St. Bartholomew church in it.

After climbing up its 100m tower I could enjoy looking at the city

And find the Brewery museum

In order to taste the local product :-)

Staré Město

Located at west side of  writeable but unpronounceable Vltava river and I will be here during a week in order to get through the jet lag :-)

Meanwhile I will take some pictures for example Charles Bridge

and  unidentified places at least for a while :-)

 without forgetting the best european beer or Did I come here to take pictures or to drink ?

Spring at Prague....

....  instead of Prague Spring.
Another good reason it's located at Bohemia :-)
