The missing root

Before writing about the last root a short and unbelievable happening.
I stopped to drink some coffee just after arriving at Hamamatsu and the man beside me
1) went out to use the cell phone and I guess it was to not bother others people
2) let his valuable belongs unattended (laptop and open wallet)

unbelievable.... unbelievable... I've paid attention in this kind of japanese behavior hood and also asked to some japanese about the reason for being this way and more than once the same answer: education.
How many Cristovam will be necessary before the same happens in Brazil ? the answer is blowing in the wind.

But back to believable one :-)
Hamamatsu is the city where my mother's parents came from with a castle

and a statue of Ieyasu the castle's builder.

In this city there are many brazilians and I could realize it by listening to romantic language of the portuguese :-) and by looking at some signals written in the same language

With this I've found what I was looking for .... both roots :-) and a new question in my mind:

Why did my grandparents decide to let Japan toward other side of the earth ?

Unfortunately they can't answer this question so I'll keep looking for it :-)

Fuji san

This iconic mountain that must be climbed by every japanese but (un)fortunately the climbing season has not started :-)

And I was warned about the low temperature at Mt Fuji fifth station that is the closest place I can get at this time of the year so I decided by Fujinomiya and with a help from zoom is what I've got :-)

And in Fujinomiya there were kids playing and some people fishing in the water that comes from  Fuji san

Harajuku

There are something else beyond shopping in this neighborhood and there is no relation with Aracaju  :-)

For instance Yoyogi park

and its nice garden

with some place for sleeping

even with a bad percussion

but to be honest I can do it better so I'll be quiet :-)

Ueno

In this Tokyo's district is located the zoo but without planning in advance I arrived after the last get in hour :-(

But there was time to kill

even so at the National museum of western art with Raffaello's collection... lucky again :-)

Nikko

Nikko is scattered among hilly woodlands

with a red bridge

and lots of shrines

Tokyo

To get an overview of Tokyo, go up Tokyo Tower

From there you can find yourself and see where it's Akihabara and buy a pen drive to backup the pictures but there is another resource missing.... free time ... do you have some ? :-)

Beyond people with good will some thanks to God is welcome at Zojo-ji

An evening stroll at Asakusa

To find by myself some sushi.... just find.... not make :-)

Back to the root

Okayama is on the way to Hiroshima from Tokyo.

There is a nice garden

with ponds and some fishes waiting for food

If you get tired of walking you can refresh your feet

but in order to not make the fishes' water dirty I exchanged it by a beer :-)

Were my feet fresh ? Not at all by my soul was :-)
Also close to the garden is Okayama castle

that can be reached just by crossing a bridge

And Okayama is also my dad's hometown who taught me much .... not with words but with examples... miss much him even after almost 30 years :-(

So ... Did I find it ? (10) I still haven't found what I'm looking for (U2) ...no there is also my mother side :-)

Taking the long way home

I am back to Tokyo or ta-dai-ma :-) and again at light Ginza at least during the night

and by reading bathroom's advice first so this turn no hotel flooded at all :-)

Lotus lantern festival

In 2013 it will happen between May 10th and 12th but unfortunately I'll not be at Seoul because my time is over :-(   not always lucky .... or is it another strong signal ?  :-)

I'm not sure but maybe the lanterns I looked at some places are for the festival... not sure...

But at Cheong Gye Cheon, the preparations for it are clear

Before leaving Seoul behind

In order to calm Reverie down :-) ... I'm really a lucky guy... surrounded by wonderful women  even on the other side of the world :-) .... it's time for some shopping.

Unfortunately with not much won at my wallet so I tried some bargain at Shinsegae :-)

with success and there was still won available for a lunch close to the upper floor :-)

and still lucky there was won enough to drink some beer at Doota with its unusual business hours at least for me :-)

By the way Cass comes from Castigo in portuguese.... bad choice :-(

A day of an olympic athlete
