Una cerveza...

... that means one beer in spanish :-)

In order to recover myself from the day before because I'm just half century and one year older than Magdalena :-)

So by myself I went to Capilla del Hombre

where is not allowed to take pictures inside but god Google helped us with La Ternura one of the portraits showed inside

At the same place is Museo Guayasamin with a Paco de Lucia's portrait

Life goes easy on me...

... most of the time :-) even with budweiser

in front of Teatro Sucre

On the other side there were ceviche

and Basilica del Voto Nacional

with 148 steps to get an overview of old town

After all life goes easy not just on me :-)

Sunday in Quito

It started at Reserva Geobotánica Pululahua whose extinct volcanic crater nowadays hosts a green reserve

So if you go down just remember that you must come back :-)

About 4kms there is La Mitad del Mundo

and another measured by GPS

where an egg stands up

Then took the TelefériQo and saved some oxygen tanks :-) because it goes 4000 meters above sea level

and got great views of Quito

From Panecillo there are great views too

and if you are hungry try  Seco de chivo

and because it is sunday finished at Plaza Santo Domingo :-)

young gUy...

... in an old town because everything is relative :-)

There is La Compañia de Jesús

where it is not allowed to take pictures but I did not know it until taking a scolding :-( .... but too late to erase it :-)

Just beside it is Museo Numismático del Banco Central where I figure out that since 1988 the currency of Ecuador is US$.

At the same street is Museo de la Ciudad

with Panecillo at the back.
At last saturday of the month the entrance is free so there were dollars to take some pictures :-)
