Paraíso Perdido (Lost Heaven)

How anything can be lost

with sign ? :-)

There is a spoken story about the name of it.
Two guys in a motorcycle arrived there and one said: It is the heaven !!!
and the another one replied: but we are lost !!!

There are some waterfalls

natural pools

Some fish massage on feet :-)

And unfinished stairway to heaven :-)

Waterfalls of São Thomé

Starting from Vale das Borboletas (Valley of Butterflies) the closest one with no much water due to dry season

some blue wings butterflies around

and following the stream

with some owners on the way

to reach another one whose name I do not know so we could call it Yamamoto waterfall :-)

where  my feet deserve some fresh water after the challenging WCF2017 without bicycle :-)

On the other side of the village there are more waterfalls like Véu da Noiva (Bride`s Veil)

and Cachoeira do Flávio

At the end by feeling really small like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down :-)

GPS guided

By trusting in GPS which means not the best route :-(

I moved from Ouro Preto to São Thomé das Letras by taking Estrada Real

with places to taste typical regional food on the way

At the end of the day I arrived there still alive :-)

Tired

of going up and down on the steep cobblestone streets of Ouro Preto

and Mariana I will let the pictures speak by themselves :-)

There is also a train that connects both cities and it is so slow like me compared to shinkansen :-)

It goes by chinese mustache waterfall

At Ouro Preto, the Aleijadinho`s remains are at Nossa Senhora da Conceição church

Without getting a bicycle and in order to keep the commitment made in 2007, I went on foot

to Inhotim an open air museum

Some drivers did not join me :-( and the excuse was electrical car
 

But the monkey did :-)

Not everything is out

By speaking about art, I prefer art...isanal beer :-)

On the way back I chose Brumadinho

instead of Belo Horizonte

for saying a prayer for bad manner tourist :-(
